Tony leads GNA’s sales initiatives including the management of market development activities designed to heighten the presence of GNA clients in the marketplace. Tony is responsible for planning and directing business development activities for both the events and consulting divisions of GNA. He oversees all aspect of event sponsor and exhibitor relations and is highly skilled at designing events that return maximum value to participants.

Director of Sales & Corporate Partnerships, Westgate City Center – Clear Channel Branded Cities
Tony was instrumental in the launch of Westgate City Center, one of Arizona’s largest super-regional sports and entertainment venues. He was responsible for all sales activities including campaign planning, marketing partnership development, and implementation of large-scale event development initiatives. During his tenure, he was directly responsible for developing several multi-million dollar corporate partnerships while increasing the number of annual visitor stays to over 12 million.

Group Show Director, Cygnus Business Media
Tony played an integral role in building Cygnus’s portfolio of tradeshow assets through new event launches, acquisitions, and expansion of existing events. He was responsible for oversight of all implementation phases of simultaneous projects and for executing aggressive sales and marketing campaigns. Tony also developed new revenue streams via the creation of new events which resulted in increased audience/visitor traffic.

Nate Springer, Director, Market Development

Nate has over 15 years of experience in transport and clean business. With GNA, he leads market development of low and zero-emission technologies and promotes their adoption by fleets with maximum ROI. Previously, he directed BSR’s Future of Fuels initiative with fleets, OEMs, fuel providers and designed its turnaround. He also managed BSR’s clean shipping initiative with 85 percent of global container carriers and 30 of their customers and led clean energy strategy projects with numerous Fortune 500 companies. His expertise crosses EV, renewable natural gas, biodiesel and renewable diesel, hydrogen, CNG, LNG for road fleets and shipping globally, especially in US, Europe, and Latin America. He speaks at 8-10 events and writes for several publications on transport cleantech annually. Nate is fluent in Spanish and holds an MBA with High Distinction and an MS in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan.

BSR is the largest non-profit business network with 250 Fortune 1,000 member companies and develops sustainable business strategies and solutions through consulting, research, and cross-sector collaboration. Nate directed BSR’s signature sustainable fuels initiative for commercial fleets, OEM’s, and energy providers and designed a turnaround that resulted in profitability and new customers. He also led annual planning and managed a team of 5 to run the company’s clean shipping program with 85 percent of global container cargo carriers and 30 shipping customers. Furthermore, he managed or supported 40+ successful sustainable strategy, supply chain, and clean energy consulting projects with Fortune 1,000 clients. Nate spoke, moderated, and facilitated on corporate sustainability and transport cleantech at 8-10 industry events annually.

Student Cleantech Consultant, University of Michigan
Nate was a cleantech growth and commercialization student consultant for Dow Chemical, Owens Corning, and VertueLab while attending a top MBA sustainability program. He analyzed market potential and supply sustainability for bio-based alternatives to petroleum chemical products for a $3.4B business as part of diligence that resulted in new Dow Chemical stake in a startup. He also designed go-to-market strategy with a student team for an Owens Corning energy efficiency product that increased revenue with $100M potential. And he researched best practices in business model, revenue, and strategy for cleantech commercialization company VertueLab (formerly OregonBest) and made recommendations adopted by the President to grow staff, funding, and a technology pipeline.

Nate managed customer relationships, marketing, media relations, and stakeholder partnerships for a key government infrastructure client of an environmental affairs firm. He designed and executed communications for the transportation infrastructure customer and supervised teams to develop messaging, target audiences, and create web content that reached 2M people. Nate expanded media relations by targeting key stakeholders and building relationships with media that won coverage in U.S.’s largest Spanish-language print and television press. He also built partnerships with government, public officials, NGO’s, and business that ensured broad public support and infrastructure project continuity.
