Working with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and U.S. EPA Region 9, GNA developed the vision for the FFCA conference in early 2004. From 2004 to 2009, the FFCA conference series was the premier event in North America showcasing solutions and resources to improve operations while reducing air emissions from the goods movement industry. Bob Foster, Mayor of Long Beach set the stage for solutions and resources to improve air quality and reduce emissions from the goods movement industry.
