The second annual ACT Expo showcased a wide range of alternative fuel offerings—electric, hybrid, hydrogen, natural gas, propane autogas, and renewable fuels—and the very latest in clean vehicle technologies, making it the must-attend event of the year for clean transportation stakeholders. ACT Expo 2012 gathered stakeholders from across the alternative fuel and clean vehicle industries under one roof to explore the partnerships, technologies, funding opportunities, and success stories that are revolutionizing the transportation industry.

Jam-packed with exhibitors boasting today’s solutions for fleet needs, dozens of cutting-edge vehicle and technology displays, and with an easy-to-navigate layout, the Expo Hall teemed with excitement. Over the course of three days, ACT Expo’s keynote speakers, plenary and breakout sessions, networking events, training sessions, technical tours, and ride-and-drive guided attendees through the economic, energy-security, and environmental benefits of alternative fuel use. Top fleets from across the country were on hand to highlight their experiences while transitioning to alternative fuels in their own fleet operations.

Keynote speakers included:

  • Wesley Clark, Retired United States Army Four Star General, Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe; Co-Chairman, Growth Energy; Member, Clinton Global Initiative’s Energy and Climate Change Advisory Board; and Director, BNK Petroleum
  • Gregory Swienton, Chairman & CEO, Ryder System, Inc.
