    The ideal candidate will possess the following:

    • Education: A BA or BS is required. A BA or BS in a relevant subject (environmental science, environmental studies, public health, etc.), or a MA, MPA, or MPP is preferred.
    • Professional Experience: 1-2 years of experience in deadline-driven environments is required. Experience working with alternative fuels, advanced transportation technology, renewable energy, air quality, or energy policy is a plus.
    • Skills: Exceptional writing, research, analytical, communication, public speaking and presentation, organization, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. In addition to a strong technical/analytical background and top-notch communications skills, an excellent grasp of business strategy, marketing methods, organizational and leadership issues is also necessary. Must be able to learn from constructive criticism and adapt to rapidly-changing project needs and priorities.
    • Expertise: Technical and analytical expertise in the environmental and/or energy domain, combined with some communications, or public relations experience a plus.

    Gladstein, Neandross & Associates (GNA), a national clean transportation and energy consulting firm, is seeking an Events Manager to provide logistics, registration, and administrative support for our advanced transportation technology and clean energy conferences and expos—including the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, Renewable Gas 360, and California Dairy Sustainability Summit, and the Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC) Forums and Symposiums— as well as several client events.

    In this Events Manager role, you will manage or assist in all stages of event planning, preparation, and execution. Assist with the development of the event concept, budget, promotional materials and production/project, logistics schedules, and negotiate with external vendors. you will work side-by-side with team members that are collaborative, inquisitive, and dedicated to quality. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Events.

    Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

    • Conference Registration Management
      • Create and manage conference registration processes for several concurrent events in Cvent.

  • Business Development & Outreach Coordinator

    Gladstein, Neandross & Associates (GNA) is one of North America’s leading consulting firms in the clean transportation and energy technology space. With more than 25 years of experience, GNA is a recognized leader working at the intersection of clean energy, business, and sustainability.

    We are seeking a motivated business development and outreach coordinator to assist our Creative team in driving lead generation and expanding business prospects for clients in the EV and clean technology industry. You will conduct preliminary research based on business sector, initiate outreach and initial contact with prospects, coordinate and schedule follow up calls, answer initial client questions, and complete a range of administrative duties including maintaining a robust database.

    To excel in this role, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment, have excellent people skills, and be comfortable pitching and presenting to customers regularly. This role would be a mix of in-office (Santa Monica, CA) and remote days.

    Your Responsibilities Include:

    • Creating and implementing sales strategies and identifying new markets to enter
    • Conducting preliminary market research to understand the prospective leads and new business development opportunities
    • Establishing effective relationships with customers via email and phone
    • Coordinating with clients and executive staff to arrange client meetings and appointments
    • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and pitches for prospective clients
    • Writing and distributing agendas, slide decks, and briefing documents for internal and external meetings
    • Creating and maintaining prospective client databases and outreach lists
    • Tracking submitted proposals and providing feedback to management
    • Providing effective administrative support
    • Support the team with database research, contact tagging, and segmentation
    • Prepare contact lead reports from email campaigns, webinars, forms and other lead generation sources

    Qualifications:

    First and foremost, we are looking for a team member that is passionate about learning and has a strong commitment to driving sustainability in the business sector. Beyond that, qualifications include:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
    • 1 – 3 years of professional experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong networking skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
