Grant Writing and Resource Procurement

Over the last 10 years, GNA has successfully secured over $210 million on behalf of its clients and the multiple clean energy and transportation technology projects it has worked on. GNA has successfully received funding for more than 95% of all of the applications it has ever written. GNA’s record of success in this area simply cannot be matched.

Our expertise in these areas comes from the experience we have gained “on both sides of the coin.” GNA has extensive experience assisting local, state and federal agencies and program administrators craft and implement incentive programs focused on achieving air quality improvements in the energy and transportation sectors. GNA played an instrumental role in drafting, developing and implementing such funding programs as the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program, AB 2766 (the motor vehicle registration fees), and multiple fleet modernization programs. GNA regularly consults with many of its public agency clients to offer feedback and assistance in the development of financial incentive programs that will successfully achieve their policy goals and objectives.

On the other side of the coin, GNA has written dozens of applications on behalf of clients seeking funding for their projects. GNA’s expertise in this area extends far beyond simply filling out forms, drafting narrative, and crunching numbers. GNA's true skill comes from its expert understanding of what is required to write a successful grant application beyond simply filling out the proper paperwork. GNA is able to provide its clients with solid analysis, understanding and strategy about who their competition is, and therefore, how to submit an application that will rise to the top of the list. Along these same lines, GNA assists its clients to craft applications that not only meet the program criteria, but are written in such as way as to call attention to themselves and beg to be awarded the requested funding. This understanding cannot come from simply reading a request for proposals; it comes from the specific and unique skill set possessed by GNA.
