Director of Fleet Programs
Robert Hall provides the benefit of years of fleet operations and management expertise to a broad spectrum of GNA clientele. With over 34 years of experience in transportation operations, finance, industrial engineering, and automotive engineering, he is exceptionally well-qualified to lead companies through the intricate process of a transition to alternative fuels. Mr. Hall’s role at GNA focuses on vehicle deployment and infrastructure development projects for businesses nationwide, including on-road fleet operations as well as alternative fuel airport ground support equipment. He is also serving as the Executive Director for the Natural Gas Vehicle Fleet Forum, a member-based and directed organization with operational support provided by GNA.
Mr. Hall retired from UPS in 2010 as the Director of Maintenance and Engineering – Ground Fleet. In this position, Mr. Hall managed UPS’ fleet sustainability issues, and since 1986, he led efforts in alternative fuel projects and technology development for the domestic and international on-road vehicle fleet, as well as for UPS' airport ground support equipment fleet. These projects included CNG, LNG, propane, electric technology, hydrogen fuel cells, and hybrid vehicle development including both hybrid electric and hydraulic hybrid technologies.
Mr. Hall holds a B.S. in Industrial Management/Engineering from James Madison University, an M.B.A. in Finance from Mercer University, and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
